            Joseph Schmidt is a Communications major at Houghton University, and comes from Rochester, NY.

             Joseph strives to be a graphic designer, taking multiple digital design and animation courses in order to expand his skill set for future employment opportunities. He can use many of the adobe programs confidently, such as After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Substance, and Lightroom to name a few.

              With these skills, he looks to design logos (both static and animated) for customers. However, he also hopes to demonstrate that logos and design can be a creative process, where both customer and designer can work together to accomplish a final product that pleases the customer while allowing the designer to easily collaborate with the customer.

                Joseph hopes to produce work that is meaningful and
recognizable. Currently, he does not have any specific company
he wants to work under, but he is willing to work with others in
order to accomplish his goals as well as accept criticism from
either customer or employer alike.
